About
The Evolution of Where – and John Wilson
This site was originally about trying to make my “super common” name rise to the top of the Google Rankings. So the where was where I was in the rankings. The plan was to explain to the readers all of the strategies I used as I gradually moved my way up. Fortunately (or unfortunately) I made it up to the first page in just a few months.
When that challenge was complete, I changed jobs at my work to that of a solution engineer. That job is about gathering potential client requirements and matching them up with my company’s portfolio of products. This means travel, and lots of it. So the where changed to location.
With a child on the way, my wife and I purchased a new camera. I’ve taken on taking photographs as a hobby. Now the where is where I’m pointing my camera.
So the site is very much about where with an emphasis on John Wilson and who understand “is”? Except maybe Bill Clinton.
